Enabling Notifications in different browsers

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to the website you want to receive notifications from.

  2. To the left of the web address, click the lock icon or an information icon.

  3. Find the "Notifications" setting and select "Allow" from the dropdown menu.

  4. If you previously blocked notifications for a site and want to allow them, go to Chrome settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Notifications. Here, you can manage and allow notifications from specific sites.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and go to the desired website.

  2. Click on the left-hand side of the address bar where you'll see an icon representing permissions or directly a notification prompt.

  3. Choose to allow notifications; you might need to click on the "More information" button to find this setting.

  4. If you need to change notification settings later, you can do so in Firefox Options > Privacy & Security > Permissions > Notifications > Settings.

Safari

  1. Open Safari and navigate to the website.

  2. In Safari's menu bar at the top, go to Safari > Preferences.

  3. Click on the Websites tab and select Notifications on the sidebar.

  4. You'll see a list of websites; find the one you want and select "Allow" for notifications.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Launch Edge and go to the website you're interested in.

  2. When prompted with a notification request, click "Allow".

  3. To manage site notifications, click on the three dots in the top right corner to access Settings > Site permissions > Notifications. Here, you can customize which sites can send you notifications.

Opera

  1. Open Opera and visit the website for which you want notifications.

  2. A notification prompt will appear at the top of the page; click "Allow".

  3. To manage notifications in the future, go to Opera's settings by pressing Alt+P, navigate to Privacy & Security, and click on Site Settings. Under Permissions, you'll find Notifications, where you can adjust settings as needed.
